NEW DIETICIAN

December 22, 2017

Dear Patients, A new dietician from Fresh Nutrition, Sophie Palyga has joined our team at Springbank Medical Centre

Her name is Sophie. She is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian (APD) and graduated from
Flinders University with a Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics.
She has experience in supporting people with general healthy eating, Diabetes Mellitus and Impaired Glucose Tolerance, Cardiovascular Disease, Gastrointestinal problems including Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Malnutrition, and childhood nutrition including fussy eating.
She has a strong passion for helping others to love and appreciate their bodies, and achievea body weight that is right for them. Using a Health at Every Size (HAES®) and non-diet approach to my practice, she strives to empower her clients to nourish their body, eat intuitively and experience joy from food and eating.
Outside of work you’ll find her making a small mess in the kitchen. She is very happy to
spend hours cooking up sweet or savoury dishes or sharing a meal with loved ones,
including her four beautiful sisters. Where possible  she also loves to travel the world by
exploring what we have to offer here in Australia or going abroad to immerse herself in a
new and exciting culture and cuisine.
